At Zedflo, we supply and ship the Metrel MI 3280 Transformer Windings and Ratio Tester across Australia. This digital transformer analyser is used for testing and measuring winding resistance, turn ratio, phase deviation, and excitation current on both single and three phase transformers.
The MI 3280 Digital Transformer Analyser is battery powered (Li-ion) and features a built-in charger and rechargeable batteries as standard. It provides excellent IP protection (IP65 case closed or IP54 case open) and so is suitable for use in demanding Australian work environments.
Our Transformer Windings and Ratio Tester features a high-res full colour touch screen, built-in help screens, and auto test sequences, with no specialist training required for its operation. Test results are stored on the device, or measured results can be downloaded to a PC (software supplied as standard).
It is also compact in size, measuring 360 x 160 x 330 mm and weighing 8.8 kg (with batteries and accessories), and so is easily transportable.
There are a range of measuring functions for which the MI 3280 Transformer Windings and Ratio Tester can be used, including: turn ratio measurement and winding resistance measurement of single and three phase transformers (power transformers up to 1.6 MVA); phase deviation between high voltage and low voltage winding; and excitation current when measuring turn ratio.
Metrel is one of the world’s leading producers of measuring and testing equipment, and we supply a range of their high quality instruments across Australia, including the MI 3280 Transformer Windings and Ratio Tester.
